Wow, so any red admirals, that’s so lovely to see. I can’t help but imagine what the world would have been like, 100 years ago when we had more than double the amount of butterflies in the uk than we have now. If I could time travel I would go back to see nature at it’s various peaks, when insects and birds filled the skies and oceans were full of hundreds of whales and fish. Then I would travel forward to find out how this period ends. With the climate crisis I feel like I’m currently reading a book but I won’t find out how it ends.
I agree with all of the above Kelly. It's hard to know what to do for the best, we just all have to keep trying to do our best. This was a particularly sunny spot on a very prosperous ivy bush. It was a joy to behold.
